PONSONBY BRANCH OF W.C.T.U.

The fortnightly meeting of the Ponsonby Branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union was held in St. Stephen’s Hall on Thursday afternoon. Miss Read presiding. Mrs. Kaspar, president of the Reamera branch, was the speaker for the afternoon and gave a very interesting address on the “Fallacy of State Control.” Afternoon tea closed a very pleasant afternoon.
