Dancing at the Peter Pan
Bright Evening at New Cabaret Cancers who visited the Peter Pan Cabaret for the first time on Saturday evening were quite enthusiastic about this new dance rendezvous. The charming surroundings and furnishings were particularly admired and a very happy evening was spent dancing to the splendid music supplied by Mr. Briggs and his band. AMONG THE DANCERS Mrs. Ernest Alison wore nile green faille with panels of frilled net. Mrs. H. Ferguson was in a frdek of deep capucine moire, with deep decolletage. Madame Baird wore a black crepe de soie gown with silver Sequined embroideries. _ . ... . Mrs. Cowrie McGregor wore .a bouffant frock of palest lilac sprigged taffeta. Mrs. Albert Neville s gown was of silver lace and lame, with finger-tip length Montgomerie was in a gold lace dance ensemble. Mrs. C. B. Johnston wore cedar rose georgette with uneven length skirt dipping to the ankles. Miss Peggy Robertson's frock was of absinthe green floral ninon worn with a white fur wrap. A slim-titting frock of palest primrose chiffon was chosen by Miss Valerie Peaoocke. . ... Miss Ethel Sills wore a gown of orchid tinted lace. Miss Helen Seabrook s pretty frock was of moonmist blue chitfon with flared frills. Miss Phyllis Gash was wearing an ankle-length gown of phlox-pink faille. Miss Friedlander had on a smart gown of black and lacquer red patterned ninon. Gold and cedar rose shot lame with flounced ombre georgette skirt was chosen by Miss Molly Woolcott. Miss Maureen Fenwick was gowned in lilac satin beaute. with flared frills. Miss Mona Craig had on a smartly frilled gown of black ring velvet, with corsage spray of pink camellias. Miss llildred Graham wore white ninon, ankle-length, relieved with touches of black, and a black lace coatee. Miss Babs Alexander was frocked in ivory georgette, with touches of silver. Miss Nancy Gilmore had chosen black chiffon with petailed skirt and spVay of scarlet flowers. Miss Dallas Ilague-Smitli wore a rose beige chenille embossed gown. Mils Rita Henley wore a gown of black crepe de soie with blue relief. Miss Inez Abdullah was frocked in crocus yellow flared georgette. Miss Hilary Biss was in gold lace combined with rose faille. Miss Mavis Keane wore a slim-fitting frock of claret coloured lace, with bouffant skirt of matching taffeta. Miss Kenny was frocked in pale pompadour pink georgette. Miss Anita Sutherland wore a limegreen faille frock with uneven length skirt. Miss Babe Adams wore a slim-fitting frock of black faille, with sequined corsage and fringed hem. Miss Gabrielle P’raser was wearing black georgette with sash of silver lame. Miss Brenda Bales chose deep capucine georgette with uneven length hem. Miss Betty Johnston’s frock was of bois du rose embossed chiffon. Miss Dorothy Wallen had on a hyacinth blue georgette frock with rhinestone trimming-. A charming frock of gold lame and gold metal lace was worn by Miss Margaret O’Connor. Miss Edna Craig was in sea green moire taffeta relieved with rhinestones. Miss Joan Sanderson was wearing palm green taffeta combined with gold lace. Miss Melville was in Chinese red georgette. Miss Joy Hansen had on lvoi'y satin beaute with shoulder spray of pink flowMiss Isobel Armitage was in black chiffon with flounced skirt. Miss R. Thomson was wearing a gown of forest green georgette. Miss Brenda Brown’s bouffant frock was of sprigged taffeta in patsel shades. Miss B. McLaren had on a frock of black bead georgette.
