WHANGAREI LICENCE WITHDRAWN

From Our Own Correspondentt WHANGAREI, Today

Advice has been received from the Nurses and Mid wives* Registration Board that the licence held by the Whangarei District Hospital to train midwifery nurses will be withdrawn from Alarch next. The Whangarei Board fought strenuously to retain the licence and will withdraw from membership of the Hospital Boards’ Association on account of the attitude the executive took on the question.
