ELECTED A LIFE MEMBER

ROTORUA CLUB’S APPRECIATION

A member and a good worker of the Rotorua Racing Club since the ’eighties, Mr. F. Goodson has now been made a life member.

The president of the club. Dr. H. Bertram, in officially announcing the election of Mr. Goodson to life-member-ship at Friday’s annual meeting, commented on the zeal and energy that the veteran committeeeman had always displayed in matters pertaining to the welfare of the club. He then presented Mr. Goodson with an illuminated and framed certificate of life-membership. Mr. Goodson, in a happy little speech, thanked the club for such a happy reminder of services which he had found a labour of love.
