CONVERSION OF CAR Coming up for sentence on charges of converting a motoy-car valued at £IBO to Ills own use, and wilfully damaging tlie motor-car to the extent of £lO, Clifford Campbell, a labourer, aged 19, was admitted to probation for 12 months by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court today. Mr. Smyth appeared for accused. “You’ve had a few days in gaol,” said Mr. Hunt to accused. “You have now some idea of what will happen to you if you get into trouble again.” Accused was also ordered to make restitution of the amount of the damage.
