CARD AFTERNOON
UNITED CROQUET CLUB At the J.C.L. tearooms on Wednesday a most successful card afternoon was held by the United Croquet Club. There were about 25 tables engaged and the guests were entertained with bridge and 500. Tho president, Mrs. Powley, welcomed those present. The prizes for bridge were won by Mrs. Thornton and Mrs. Mcßride, and the 500 prize by Mrs. Watson. Among those present were:—Mesdames Powley, N.
