VICTORIA LEAGUE AT HOME

NEW MEMBERS WELCOMED The Victoria League’s rooms were prettily arranged with bowls of golden daffodils and jonquils, pussy willow and arum lilies yesterday afternoon, when the new members were entertained at an At Home. The membership has steadily increased, the number to date now stands at 131 and that of the league itself is about 1,342. Tlio president. Miss Mowbray, welcomed the new members and gave a brief resume of the aims and objects of the league and also made reference to the activities of the various committees. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs. Preston Chambers, Mrs. Gulliver, Miss Slator, Miss F. Murray, Miss C. Murray, Miss Chambers, Miss O’Neil, Miss Gerrard.
