FUNDS FOR CHURCH BAZAAR

SUCCESSFUL SOCIAL A very enjoyable and successful social evening, organised by the members of the committee in charge of the jumble stall at the forthcoming Papatoetoe Anglican Church bazaar, was held in the Renown Hall, Papatoetoe, on Thursday evening. In addition to dancing, progressive 500 and ping-pong tournaments were held. An enjoyable programme of dance music was provided by Mrs. Collings. The supper tables were prettily decorated with clusters of golden wattle and daffodils. The members of the committee responsible for the success of the function were Mesdames F. M. Waters, H. C. Ernest, Kerr, Collings, L. Burnside, Misses R., W., and E. Burnside.
