KITCHEN EVENING
BRIDE-ELECT AND FIANCE ENTERTAINED A very enjoyable kitchen evening, in honour of Mrs. McGregor and Mr. L. Gillard, was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. Bellingham, Fast Tamaki, on Thursday evening. The evening was spent in musical items, games and dancing. Miss Cato played the dance music. Mrs. Gillard, sen., acted as hostess, wearing a frock of black crepe de chine. Mrs. McGregor wore an ankle-length frock of beige lace over rose pink satin carreau. _ Among those present were; —Mrs. \v. Bellingham, wearing a frock of vieux rose crepe de chine; Mrs. Stubbing", sapphire blue crepe de chine; Mrs. Sherry, black frock relieved with touches of red; Mrs. Green, champagne, lace frock over a foundation of pink satin; Mrs. G. McCauley. frock of black crepe de chine; \frs Crooks, unrelieved frock of black silk elise: Mrs. G. Allen, orchid pink taffeta and lace; Miss Godfrey, black ring velvet; Miss Cato, patterned georgette; Miss Green, frock of pinx and silver; Miss Sherry, ivory satin beaute, with trimmings of lace; Miss Cooper, navy frock relieved with rose pink; Miss McCauley, beige crepe de chine; Miss Joy Bellingham, lemon crepe de chine.
