IVORY GEORGETTE AND CHANTILLY LACE
BRIDESMAIDS IN PINK AND BLUE COFFIN—STACEY At St. Matthew's Church recently the marriage was celebrated of Mavis, eldew daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest A. Stacey, of Dexter Avenue, Dominion Road, Auckland, and Stanley, only son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Goffln, of Point Chevalier. Canon C. If. Grant Co wen performed the ceremony. Given away by her father, the bride wore a frock of ivory georgette with a yoke and draped skirt of Chantilly lace. Her hand-embroidered silk net veil, which was bordered with tilet lace, was caught to the head with sprays of orange blossoms and fell gracefully to form a train. She carried a bouquet of pink and white flowers. Miss Rita Montgomerie and Miss Joyce Stacey were bridesmaids, wearing frocks of powder blue and shell pink georgette respectively, made with frilled ankle-length skirts. They wore felt hats in the same shade as their frocks and carried bouquets to tone. The bridegroom was attended by Mr B. Stacey as best man and Mr. B. Head was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Domain Kiosk, which, was decorated with daffodils and maidenhair fern. , Mrs. Stacey received the guests wearing a frock of nile green figured r.inon with a green bankok hat. She carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. Mrs. Goflln had on a frock of deep cream georgette relieved with rose and a hat to tone. Her bouquet was of sweet peas and orchids.
