BRIDAL GOWN OF SILK NET MOUNTED ON SILVER LAME

PEACH PINK AND GREEN IS CHOSEN FOR BRIDESMAIDS JENKINS—HIGGINS At St. Matthew’s Church the marriage took place this week of Miss Elva Amelia Higgins, second daughter of Mrs. Webster, of Grey Lynn, and Mr. Ronald Henry Jenkins, only son of Mrs. Dunn, Symesnds Street, Auckland. The ceremony was performed by Canon C. H. Grant Cowen. The bride, who was given away by her grandfather, Mr. Goodenough, wore a sleeveless frock of silk net over silVor lame, the slightly flared skirt having four points which reached to the ankles. The corsage was finished with a spray of orange blossom on one shoulder. The veil of embroidered tulle was arranged on the head with a jmall lace cap and sprays of orange blossom at each side.. She carried a Sh S? er bouquet of white flowers. Tne bride was attended by two niaids. Miss Elsie Edgar wore a sleeveless lace frock of peach blossom Dink, the skirt mad© with four long Deakß. A large bow of pal© green tulle ornamented the waistline. She wore a readdress of pink tulle and carried a

bouquet of pink carnations, anemones and maidenhair fern. Miss Doris Allen wore a frock of lettuce green lace similarly fashioned and a tulle headdress to match. Her bouquet was of mauve stocks and sweet peas. Little Aldwyth Dunn was flower girl, wearing a frock of primrose frilled crepe de chine with a taffeta cap to match, and she carried a posy of pale pink sweetpeas. Mr. Dick Ossley was best man and Mr. Hugh Eaton was groomsman. A reception was held later at the Penrith Tea Rooms, where Mrs. Webster received her guests wearing a frock of apricot embossed georgette and a hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of anemones and fern. Mrs. Dur.n, mother of the bridegroom, had on a frock of black satin relieved with white. She wore a small black and white hat and carried a bouquet of violets and mauve anemones.
