MOUNT EDEN METHODIST On "Wednesday evening there wa* a large gathering of the members ot the Mount Eden Methodist Church » the schoolroom, when the choir gave a social for the purpose of obtaining gifts for the fancy stall for the bazaar to be held next month. The artistic effect of the decorative scheme of oailoons and streamers was enhanced OT soft-coloured lights. ~ Under the leadership of Mr. Dellow, the choirmaster, and Mr. v ernon Brookes, a most enjoyable programme of games and competition was provided. Pianoforte solos oy Misses Edna Gray and Mollie Martin* and songs by Miss Dixon and Mr. Aren. Wallbank. were also contributed.
