DRAINAGE LOAN CARRIED
SMALL POLL AT WIRI By 36 votes to 20, the proposal ot the Wiri Drainage Board to raise a loan of £BSO for the purpose of carrying out general drainage worlr, including the cleaning out of the Puhinui Stream and the ditches running into it, was carried at a poll taken yesterday. The term of the loan as fixed by the Local Government Loans Board is 12 years, with a sinking fund of 61 per cent, per annum.
