At the meeting of the Papatoetoe fachool Committee on Tuesday evening it was unanimously decided to forV a L' < ,l the following resolution to Mr A ‘„™ • HalI > M - p - Tur Hauraki: a . Th . at _ the . Papatoetoe District Committee, while appreciating the eftorts of the Government to reduce the cost of education and unified control, feels that the proposal to curtail the administrative powers of local education boards is not in the best interests of education in general in that it is felt that the individual and particular requirements of schools will not be able to be satisfactorily deal* with.”
