REMAND TO HASTINGS “We’ll send him to Hastings to lace his wife aud family. On the theft charges he will be convicted and discharged.” So said Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.. today. when Frank James Price, a traveller, aged 38, appeared on remand to answer charges of stealing two sums of money totalling £4 12s 6d, the property of Technical Publications, Ltd., between July 17 and 19. There was also a maintenance a S a ihst him from Hastings. “Price was in the employ of Technical Publications, and after he left he collected these two sums and kept them.” said Chief-Detective Hammond. “We also have a warrant for him from Hastings for maintenance.” Mr. Hunt: Well, he’s been in gaol for a fortnight, long enough to get the liquor out of him. Accused was convicted and discharged on the theft charges and remanded to appear at Hastings on August 26 on the maintenance charge.
