BETTY NUTHALL’S VICTORY IN SECOND ROUND PLAY AT FOREST HILLS Reed. 9.5 a.m. NEW YORK, Tuesday. At Forest Hills, Miss Betty Nuthall defeated Miss Mary Lamme, of Rye, New York, 6—l, 6—l, in the second round of the women's national tennis championships. Miss Edith Cross defeated Miss Alice Francis, 6—2, 2—6. 6—3. Miss Nuthall and Miss Cross will meet tomorrow.
