CRASHED INTO SEA
PASSENGER’S LIFE LOST NEAR BRISBANE PILOT ESCAPES DEATH Reed. 10.50 a.m. BRISBANE, Today. While flying round H.M.A.S. Albatross, as the warship was proceeding down the Brisbane River, a Moth airplane, piloted by T. Urquhart, with W. Duff as a passenger, crashed into the water. Duff was trapped in the wreckage of the plane and drowned, but the pilot escaped with cuts on the head.
