NURSING EXAMINATIONS
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HIGHEST FOR AUCKLAND Tho first place for Nciv Zealand in the nursing examintaions conducted by the Health Department on June 4 and 5, was gained by Miss X. A. Dawes*, formerly of the Auckland Hospital staff. Tho following candidates from hospitals in the Auckland Province were successful in the examinations: Passed First for Dominion.—Venie Alice Dawes. Julie Eleanor Muir, Muriel Lindsay. Dorothy Ethel Cooper (all Auckland): Lilian Mav Hawken. Mary Elizabeth Walker, Jean Taylor Bain. Ivy Annie Hunger (Whangarei): Laura Elizabeth Barrett, Selina Helen Signal, Elizabeth McDonnell, Grace Ellen Thomas, Evelyn Emily Cay Thompson, Gladys Mary Botille Vette (Waikato); Elizabeth May Harris (Waihi); Rlioda Muriel W. Brown (King George V., Rotorua).
