Sympathetic, reference to the death ot Mr. A. E. Warnock was made by the chairman of the Auckland Hospital Eoard, 51 r. .55 allace, at yesterday afternoon's meeting. He paid a flue tribute to invaluable service for the board performed by Mr. Warnock durthe 191 S influenza epidemic, when ho had closed up liis own office and carried on the -work of one of the board’s departments, the officers of which were stricken with the malad v The board owed the late Mr. Warnock a deep debt of gratitude, the chalrma n added.
