FRANKLIN BRANCH At the monthly meeting- of the Franklin Plunket Society held on Tuesday the resignation was received from the president, Mrs. H. H. D. Wily. She has been president for the past seven years, during which time sub-branches were formed at Pokeno, Papakura and Waiuku. RAMARAMA SOCIAL There was a large attendance at the Ramarama Young People’s Club on Saturday evening, when the Drury Kotiro Club members were the guests. Dancing, games, and compel titions were indulged in. Dance music was played by Miss Celia Fox. Mr B Melhuish, and Mr. E. Bradsti-e4t.
