ROTARY’S £SOO GIFT

HEALTH SOCIETY BUILDING In a letter to the Rotary Club yesterday, the Society for the Health of Women and Children thanked the club for its contribution of £SOO toward the cost of adding rooms to the headquarters of the society in Symonds Street. Reference to the death of Mr. W. Spragg was made by the president. Mr. C. J. Tunks, and the club passed a resolution of sympathy with the relatives of Mr. Spragg. Mr. R. Wallace, of Xapier, and Mr S. F. Castle, of Wellington, were welcomed as visitors.
