JOLLY PARTY HELD AT ORIENTAL RENDEZVOUS

At the Oriental Rendezvous, Mangere, a very jolly party was organised by Mr. C. Hughes on Saturday evening. Among those present were: Mrs. G. Barr, who wore blue crepe de chine; Miss Olive Dunn, black and amber sequined frock; Miss L. Christmas, green ninon; Miss Hazel Martin, floral taffeta; Miss R. Service, black georgette and satin; Miss Corry, mauve georgette; Miss E. Mitchell, tangerine chenille georgette; Miss L. Neill, black crepe de chine; Miss Temple Dewdney, midnight blue taffeta and tulle; Miss J. Scott, black celanese; Miss Currie, lemon lace and georgette; Miss Johns, beige lace; Miss K. Worral, orange georgette: Miss Mavis Dye, blue georgette; Miss Haycock, black georgette; Miss Flo Dye, eau de nil satin and georgette; Miss P. Franklin, pale pink satin; Miss R. Bright, white crepe de chine and embossed georgette. Miss C. Currie, wearing blue georgette and lace coatee; Miss Joan Lyons, lemon satin and tulle; Miss Nance Chambers, floral ninon; Miss Alison Cook, floral taffeta; Miss Moran, ivory georgette; Miss Xeild, black and gold georgette; Miss B. Powell, gold lace over crepe de chine: Miss Vlguers, black georgette; Miss Hazel Thomas, blar*k net over pink satiil; Miss It. King, midnight blue crepe de chine; Miss A.
