ANNUAL DANCE HELD BY DILWORTH OLD BOYS’ ASSOCIATION

HAPPY FUNCTION The lounge and hall of the Girls* Inter-house Club rooms was most attractively decorated with palms and spring flowers for the annual dance of the Dilworth Old Boys’ Association on Saturday evening. Members of the committee present were:—Mrs. Nicholas, wearing a gown of pink georgette and silver lace; Mrs. McEwen, blue beaded moire; Mrs. Burgess, black georgette and guipure lace; Mrs. Winnall, ankle-length frock of coral embossed georgette; Miss Q. Silk, ankle-lengtli ivory satin; Miss A. Salter, pale blue frilled taffeta.

Among those present were: Mrs. Thwaites, pink satin and lace; Mrs. H. Ross, pink silk lace; Miss P. Holly, salmon pink satin; Miss Hillman, flame taffeta; Miss Alice Barry, black ring velvet; Miss Pengelly, floral silk and net; Miss Watson, mist pink crepe do chine; Miss King, rose pink georgette; Miss R. Sparks, pale blue moire; Miss Molly Metcalfe; frock of green lace; Miss Marie Kean, turquoise blue georgette; Miss Freda Somers, blue taffeta and chiffon velvet coatee; Miss Billy Brockett, flame taffeta; Miss F. Brockett, lime green taffeta; Miss West, lemon georgette; Miss J. Keane, frock of black lace; Miss Joan Aitkenhead, rose pink taffeta; Miss Rita Hill, lime green taffeta.

Miss Johnson, in mimosa lace, relieved with a cerise bow; Miss G. Thompson, mauve taffeta; Miss Phil Laing, floral georgette; Miss Langton, ankle-length frock of blue moire; Miss Gwen Hill, shot pink taffeta; Miss N. Grey, blue patterned georgette; Miss Rona Salter, amethyst shot taffeta; Miss Bell, primrose georgette; Miss Bradley, blue taffeta.
