STAFF ENTERTAINED MUSIC AND DANCING The staff of the Auckland branch of the Imperial Typewriter Company was entertained on Saturday evening in the Tower Tea Rooms by Mr. R. M. Evans, who has been touring New Zealand on behalf of the company. A number of musical items interspersed with dancing provided a pleasant evening’s entertainment, at the conclusion of which Mr. P. D. Kenny, on behalf of the staff, wished Mr. Evans “bon voyage.” Among those present were:

Webb, in a gown of cyclamen taffeta; Mrs. Keith Harrison, in a < harming frock of floral chiffon; Mrs. Claude Arthur was frocked in black chiffon velvet; Miss Moya Hawkins, period frock of sea-green satin and tulle; Miss Edna Wilkins, ankle-length 'frock of shell pink oharmeuse; Miss Phillis Rush, frock of buttercup taffeta and tulle Miss Doris Timms, charming gown of flame taffeta; Miss Theyasa Flannery. ankle-length frock of ivory georgette; Miss Doris Yoe. dainty gown of black lace; Miss Pet • hapman. oau de nil sequin gown with * "af.ee: Miss Allison Blewden, jade-greon ' ; bossed georgette and ring velvet; Rhodes, smart frock of black and white
