HAND-OVER CEREMONY IN HYDE PARK MISS AMY CLIMBS ABOARD Reed. 1.5 p.m. LONDON, Sunday. An enormous crowd at Hyde Park witnessed the handing over to Miss Amy Johnson the gift plane to which a large number of people had subscribed. Sir Sefton Brancker, Director of Civil Aviation, said he was proud to present a plane which had been subscribed to by a public which was stirred with enthusiasm by the magnitude of Miss Johnson’s enterprise. After the ceremony Miss Johnson climbed into the plane and waved her hand to the cheering crowd.
