“BECOMING A HABIT”
PROHIBITION ORDER BROKEN “Wht? Again?” said Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court today, when Peter O’Malley, a seaman, aged 47, pleaded guilty to charges o£ being found drunk in Wellesley Street and procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order. Sub-Inspector Shanahan said O’Malley had a list and was just out of gaol. “For a breach of his order?” asked Mr. Hunt. “He was convicted on July 18,” said the sub-inspector. On the charge of drunkenness O’Malley • was convicted and discharged. For the breach of his prohibition order he was fined £5 or one month, plus costs.
