MR. FORBES ENTERTAINED

GUEST OF FORMER SCHOOL MATES VISIT TO LYTTELTON Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. The Prime Minister, the Hon. G. W. Forbes. was yesterday evening the guest of his old school mates at Lyttelton. Mr. W. T. Foster, Mayor of Lyttelton, an old schoolfellow of Mr. Forbes, presided. Mr. Forbes spoke of the old days, old friends and the changed times since their school days. Mr. W. J. Toomey, an employee of Mr. Forbes’s father, presented to Mr. Forbes a silver cigarette case with the arms of Lyttelton inscribed on it, and Mr. Forbes presented to Mr. Toomey a square which they had used in the sail loft of his father’s business to square off sails.
