HAMILTON WEDDING
TULLE VEIL EMBROIDERED WITH SILVER FLOWERS
SHAW—FLYGER
A very pretty wedding was celebrated recently at St. George's Church, Hamilton, when Mabel Evelyne, eldest daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. Norman Flyger, was married to Robert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Shaw, of Tasmania. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Boyd. The bride, who was given away by Air. A. W. Green, wore a dainty bridal gown of cream georgette and silver lace, fashioned with a full flared skirt. Her veil of tulle was embroidered with silver flowers and was arranged on the head with a spray of orange blossoms. , She carried a shower bouquet v of flowers to tone. Two maids attended the bride, Misses Gladys and Millicent Flyger, who wore frocks of pale pink and pale green georgette respectively, fashioned alike with yokes and hems of silver lace and finished on one hip with a tulle bow. They wore head-dresses of finely-pleated tulle and carried shower bouquets. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Jack Martin and Mr. N. Mitchell was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was I held at the Centre way, where Mrs. Fly- j ger received the guests wearing a gown of blue crepe de chine with petalled embroidery and a hat to tone. Her bouquet was of autumn flowers. To travel in the bride chose a mauve tailored costume with a hat to match. Among the guests present were: Mr. and? Mrs. A. W. Green, Mr. and Mrs. Hastings (Wanganui), Mrs. Hill, Mrs. and Miss Martin, Air. and Mrs. Verran, Mr. and Airs. Reinhardt, Air. and Airs. Clem Flyger, Air. James Paterson, Air. Gordon Flyger, Mr. and Aliss Mitchell, Velma and Dawn Flyger, and Rev. Air. Boyd.
