LYRIC THEATRE
“HIGH SOCIETY BLUES” Janet Gaynor and Charles Harrell, who made such a popular success in "Sunny Side Up,” play the principal parts in “High Society Blues,” which is now at the Lyric Theatre. The story tells of the troubles that beset a wholesale grocer from an lowa township, who realises a large sum of money from the sale of his business, and with the proceeds tries to break into the exclusive set of New York. The young pjayers are supported by a strong cast, including Louise Fazenda, Joyce Compson, and Lucien Littlefield. A splendid supporting programme is also being presented. headed by "Pointed Heels,” starring William Powell.
