PAST YEAR’S OPERATIONS The annual reports of Fuller’s Pictures, Ltd., and Hayward’s Pictures, Ltd., which operate in conjunction the Fuller-Hayward Theatre Corporation, Ltd., state that the companies are now only holding companies in the Fuller-Hayward Theatre Corporation, and their only investments are equal blocks of shares in the corporation. The Fuller-Hayward Picture Corporation, Ltd., is managed by a board of six directors, Sir Benjamin Fuller, president, Mr. John Fuller and Mr. Walter Fuller (appointed by Fuller’s Pictures, Ltd.), and Mr. P. A. Herman Mr. 11. J. Hayward, and Mr. P. Hayward (appointed by Hayward’s Pictures, Ltd.). Mr. H. J. Hayward, vice-president of the Fuller-Hayward Picture Corporation, Ltd., states that the past year had been a very difficult one for exhibitors. Large capital expenditure had been necessary for the installation of sound equipment, and for a large part of the year the company had been forced to pay for silent films which had not been used, as well as for the new sound films. SUNNY PARK DAIRY COMPANY MATAMATA, Friday. Tho annual meeting of the Sunny Park Dairy Company was held at Te Poi on Thursday, 14 th inst., Mr. J. Bell presiding over an attendance of about 50 suppliers. The report stated that in accordance with a resolution passed at last annual meeting the company’s year ended a month earlier, notwithstanding which the butter-fat received showed an increase of 19,1561 b and was a record for the company. During the year 623 i tons of cheese, ISi tons of butter and 11 1-10 tons of whey butter were made, and the butter-fat in cream sold amounted to 54,2761 b. Payments to suppliers for the period averaged Is C.Olfid for cheese, and Is 3.782 d for butter.. The balances available will make tho totals Is fi.SOfid for cheese and Is 4.345 d for butter, and it is anticipated these figures will be slightly increased when all sales are completed. Tho elction necessary to fill three seats on the directorate resulted in the election of Messrs. Bell, Goodwin and Kerr. A motion was carried protesting against tho charge by the Thames Valley Power Board of £2 a horse-power on electric motors. The question of grading the milk supplied was discussed and it was decided to do so during the coming year, but six prizes are to be offered instead of a differential payment being made.
