EXPLOSION BURIES FORTY IN CANADIAN MINE NO SIGNALS HEARD VANCOUVER, Thursday. An explosion occurred last night in the Blakebum colliery at Coalmont, British Columbia. Forty-six miners were entombed, two of whom are dead. After 24 hours of unsuccessful efforts of the rescuers to get through, the plight of the entombed miners. IT they are not already dead, is regarded as grave. * No signal has been heard from them since the explosion and their exact location is not known.
