MEMBERSHIP OF WRESTLING UNION MORE THAN 50 ELECTED More than 200 applications have been received for membership of the Auckland Ex-Servicemen’s Wrestling Union and more than 50 have been elected, on condition that they abide by the rules of the union, and if returned soldiers, are financial members of the Returned Soldiers’ Association. NEXT AUCKLAND MATCH The next wrestling attraction to be staged by the Auckland Union will be a match between Walter Logan and Tom Ray, on August 25, provided that Ray has recovered from the injury received at Palmerston North on Wednesday. Alatches arranged in the South by the New Zealand Wrestling Union, and affiliated bodies, are as follow’: Lundyn v. Alley, Dunedin, August 16, AlcDougall v. Hogg, Wellington. August 18; Pasha v. Lundyn, Dunedin, August 2-3; Hogg v. Ebert, Wellington, September 1, if the hall is available; Logan v. Ebert, Stratford, early in September.
