TO RACE AT ELLERSLIE
HUNTER MANDATE Mandate, who ran two creditable races at the Manawatu winter meeting, will go to Ellerslie for the Pakuranga Hunt meeting if all goes well with him in the interim. Mandate bad been in work for only three weeks prior to the local fixture, and be should be an improved horse by the time he is asked to race. Unfortunately he is not too sound and has to be nursed in consequence.
