THE URGE TO TRAVEL Walking round the world has become so common that it is now regarded in some circles as a mere constitutional, and every day some hardy individual sets out to better the performance of his neighbour. At present painting her way round the world is Miss Dorothy Beck, of California. who is making a pictorial record of her trip. Not content with landscapes, she is adding under water Studies to her collection, and while in Ceylon secured some interesting pictures of marine life by means of a specially-arranged periscope.
