Mrs. Viqtor Macky has been visiting Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. W. Price, of Thames, are at the Central Hotel. * * * Miss W. It. I3rugh, of Dunedin, is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. E. Elder, of Wellington, are guests at the Royal Hotel. Mrs. R. Hand, of Northcote. is on a visit to her daughter, at New Plymouth. Lieutenant and Mrs. Gladstone, of Auckland, are on a visit to Christchurch. Mrs. E. Webster, who has been on a visit to Wellington, has returned to Auckland. Mrs. R. IT. Venables, of Palmerston, lias returned home from a visit to Auckland. « $ * + Mrs. Culford Bell has been appointed to adjudicate the elocution at the next Napier Competitions Festival, Easter, 1931. Miss Violet Scanned, of Wanganui, and Miss Alajorio Hair, of Auckland, leave by the Aorangi on August 26 for an extended tour of England and the Continent. • * * Mrs. G. N. Harden, of Waverley, who has been visiting her parents, Captain and Mrs. Thompson, of Mangere, returned home last evening, accompanied by Miss K. Massey.
