Staff Dance and Social
A. J. Entrican and Co. ENJOYABLE PROGRAMME The Masonic Hal! presented a charming scene on Wednesday evening, with its brilliant decorations and pretty frocks, when the staff of A. J. Entrican and Company, Ltd., held its last social and dance of the year. The dance music was played by Hoffman’s Commanders. On the stage were masses of golden wattle, and the supper-room was also decorated with golden daffodils and wattle. Several songs by Mrs. Asher were much enjoyed, while the humorous sketches by Mr. Dan Flood added to the gaiety of the evening. The committee, to whom much of the success of the evening was due, were:—Miss Wood, who wore black satin and tulle; Aliss Maya 11, eau de nil crepe de chine; Miss Aickin. pale pink georgette and bridge coat to tone; Miss Johnson, floral satin with large hip-bow. Brown, rose taffeta; Miss P. Brown, grey georgette with blue trimmings; Mrs. It. Colcord. apricot satin and lace; Mrs. Craddock, blue ring velvet; Mrs. Kennedy, royal blue crepe de chine; Mrs. Mudford, black and silver lace; Mrs. A. T. Rugg, powder blue georgette with silver trimmings; Mrs. Leon Chapman. black and gold lace frock; Mrs. H. Cave, gold moire satin and net; Mrs. M. E. Jones, cyclamen taffeta and embossed velvet bridge coat; Miss M. Hounse.il, white crepe de chine relieved with blue; Miss E. Matthews, lemon satin beaute; Miss J. Roger, cherry georgette with bridge coat to tone; Miss E. Cole, pink ring velvet and georgette; Miss Mae McKigrig, shell pink satin beaute with tulle frills; Miss E. Wilkie, chenille georgette; Miss D. Williams, cyclamen frilled taffeta; Miss E. M. Bust, pale pink crepe de chine and gold lace. Miss E. Twidle, in pale green silk georgette, with coatee of silver lame; Miss Dorothy Eccles, blue taffeta and net; Miss T. Jamieson, lace over deep pink net; Miss E. Rogers, mauve satin beaute; Miss J. Clarke, mauve chiffon velvet; Miss J. Arnott, white satin; Miss RBrown, palest pink georgette and bridge coat to match; Miss Avis Harris, eau de nil georgette and satin; Miss.N. Grifnn, phlox-pink moire satin; Miss Freda Brannigan, ankle-length gown of beige georgette and lace; Miss M. Hitchens, blush pink georgette and lace; Miss M.
