ROADS CLOSED

ALBANY AND PANMURE-HOWICK Two sections of the Panmuredfowick Road were closed for traffic from yesterday owing to concreting operations. A metal detour has been provided, and motorists will be required to follow the Buckland’s Beach route for some distance before diverting back to the Howick Road close to the Mellon’s Bay Road junction. The Auckland Automobile Association has erected detour signs.

It is also expected that the Albany Road will be closed for through traffic from Monday next. Concreting work will be carried out providing the weather keeps fine.
