Basketball Representatives Are Entertained

ENJOYABLE DANCE HALL DECORATED WITH ASSOCIATION’S COLOURS The Auckland Basketball Association gave a most enjoyable dance in the Lewis Eady Hall last evening in honour of the representative basketball team, which is leaving shortly for Hastings to take part in the New Zealand tournament. The hall was festooned with streamers in white and blue, the association’s colours. During the evening Aliss F. E. Lee, the president, presented badges to the team. Delightful dance music was played by the Parisian Studio Orchestra. A demonstration of the modern waltz and the quick-step was given by Miss F. Welsh and Mr. Grieves and Miss Iris Kelly and Mr. Johnstone, pupils of the Alargaret O’Connor Studio. Among those present were: Aliss F. E.
