NEW MOTOR-VESSEL

ADDITION TO COASTAL RUN A hew addition to the coastal service will be made when a new motorvessel, which is under the course of construction at the yards of Mr. George Niccol, is completed at the end of October. Although it is certain that the vessel will trade between Auckland and coastal ports, her owners are still unknown. She is built entirely of kauri, and is fashioned on the diagonal plan, being 120 feet long, 26 feet beam, and with a depth of eight, feet. Her net tonnage will be 120 tons, and she will be capable of carrying 350 tons of cargo. It is estimated that her working speed will be 10 knots.
