GIRL ASSAULTED
STRUCK ON HEAD WITH RASP PRISON FOR ASSAILANT From Our Own Correspondent CAMBRIDGE, Today. In the Poliee Court today, before justices, Douglas Leigh Hunt Cowie, •aged 22, a resident of Cambridge, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for assaulting a young girl by hitting her on the head with an iron rasp.
The evidence Bhowed that accused had been boarding at the house of the girl’s mother. The girl and accused quarrelled, and subsequently the accused entered the girl’s room and comipitted the assault.
The justices recommended that while in prison, accused’s health be studied.
