LONDON

“STRANGE CARGO” Mystery .and adventure are combined in “Strange Cargo,” the current talkie attraction at the London Theatre. Based on the European stage success by Benjamin Giazer and Melchior Renglyel, the story opens on a palatial yacht en route to the Azores, The owner is Sir Richard Barclay, a popular society man, who has selected some of his best friends to accompany him on the cruise. Everything goes well when, without any forewarning, Sir Richard is killed in most mysterious circumstances. IS'o trace can at first be found either of the murderer or Sir Richard's body. The mystery seems likely to remain unsolved until investigations are made into the earlier life of Sir Richard. Several special talkie featurettes are also being shown.
