LIGHTNING HIT PLANE
THREE KILLED IN CRASH OVER U.S.A. AIRPORT PILOT AND TWO NURSES CHICAGO, Saturday. While a thunderstorm was in progress over the Chicago airport a monoplane with three people on board disappeared behind a black, cloud where evidently it was struck by lightning. The machine crashed into a municipal gas tank from which divers recovered the bodies of the pilot, and two young nurses.
