MATAMATA CLUB From Our Oxen Correspondent The annual meeting of the mata Croquet Club was held on Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. W. M- Crabb presiding over a good attendance. Tne balance sheet showed a credit of 6s sd. The club membership du ”n? the past year totalled 32 active and l honorary members. New members elected were ~ dames M. Loveridge. F. Geoble, and U McCready. _ Officers were elected as follow: uresident, Mrs. W. M. Crabb: vicepresidents. Mesdames J. P. White and \V. A. Gordon; secretary. Mrs. H- ■>- Buckley: match secretary. Mrs. E. " Brunton: treasurer. Mrs. W. S. Cordon ■ committee. Mesdames A. G. Findlater. C. Goodall. F. Hitchcock. A. Oates. ona G. Stewart: match committee, Jie--dames C. Goodall. W. Esan, and E MBrunton; green superintendent, - • E. M. Brunton: tea committee, mps dames G. Goodall and F. delegates to South Auckland tion. Mesdames W. Egan and A. At the conclusion of the business, the president presented the trop to the various winners.
