PEKINGESE AND CAT CLUB The New Zealand Pekingese and Persian Cat Club held its first parade of Pekingese dogs in the Unity Hall on Saturday afternoon. There was a good attendance of exhibiting owners and visitors. Mr. F. M. Sharp was judge, and the show was under the direction of Mr. Wright. Excellent quality was evidence in the dogs on exhibition, and even tho junior classes were of a high standard. TROPHIES PRESENTED At the conclusion of the judging afternoon tea was given to exhibitors and friends, and Mrs. Moore, wife of the club’s president, presented the splendidly decorated ribbons which constituted the trophies of the afternoon.
