TWO MEN MISSING
Press Association GREYMOUTH, Sunday. Mr. Samuel Rothera, a married man, aged about 30, the proprietor of a laundry at Greymouth, has been missing since Friday evening, when he went to Dobson. Mr. Rothera. who formerly had been employed at the Dobson mine, had gone with another man in a motorlorry in order to collect his pay as a miner, since when there have been no tidings of him. The police are searching for the man who accompanied him. The lorry was on Saturday found parked alongside the Taylorville Bridge, near Dobson. Mr. Rothera’s wife is at a loss to account for his non-appearance. It is understood that he left the mine owing to a heart ailment. It is feared that he may Jiave been drowned in the Grey River.
