LADY HECTOR The death has occurred in Wellington of Maria Georgiana Hector, widow of the late Sir James Hector, F.R.S., ia her eighty-second year.—P.A MR. H. COOP A well-known Waikato settler, Mr. Harold Coop, has died at Hamilton : t the age of 66. Born in Yorkshire. Mr. Coop came to New Zealand in ISS4. «.nd after 20 years at Newstead went into business in Hamilton, later moving to Henderson, where he engaged in farming for several years. He is survived by four sons and four daughters. MR. GEORGE WINDER
