WOMAN CYCLIST KILLED
KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR CHRISTCHURCH ACCIDENT Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. A tatal motor accident occurred on the Riecarton Road at 6.30 p.m. on Saturday, -when Miss Elizabeth Irvine was knocked down and killed by a passing motor-car. Miss Irvine, who was 24 years of age, was riding a bicycle, and was opposite St. James’s Church, Lower Riecarton, when the car came from behind and struck her. She died almost immediately. The driver of the car was Mr. E. C. Mann, a farmer, of Templeton.
