ADDRESS ON ARAPUNI

“The Truth About Arapuni” was the subject dealt with by Mr. R. Semple, M.P., to a crowded house in tho Prince Edward Theatre last evening. The lecture was supplemented by several lantern slides. The position which has arisen recently at Arapuni hydro-electric works was explained by Mr. Semple. Ho outlined the history of the undertaking, and showed clearly the factors which led to its closing down, giving his opinions as to the causes. A programme of moving pictures was also shown in conjunction with the address.
