CAR HITS TRAIN
TWO WOMEN INJURED MOTOR DRAGGED 70 FEET ) Press Association WANGANUI, Today. A motor-car collided with the Castlecliff Railway Company's train at a crossing this morning and the car was carried 70tt by the engine. The driver of the car, W. J. Gilberd, escaped injury, but Edna Crease and Gladys Jones, both passengers, were injured, the former receiving a broken arm and collar-bone and the latter bodily Injuries. Both women were taken to hospital.
