JOLLY PARTY TO CELEBRATE COMING-OF-AGE

Mrs. Nicolson gave a very enjoy able party at the Dominion Hall, Dominion Road, to celebrate the 21st birthday of her son, Malcolm. The hall was decorated with streamers and balloons for the occasion. Musical items were given by Mr Clifford Trainor and Mr. Gordon Hall Excellent dance music was played by Mr. Ij. Mrs. Nicolson received her guests, wearing a frock of navy blue marocain relieved with vieux rose crepe de chine Among the guests present were: Miss Mae Connell, who wore a cerise satin frock embroidered in silver; Mrs. A Upfold. apple-green taffeta; Mrs. L Wilkmson, navy blue crepe de chine; Mrs. Huston, sen., floral crepe de chine; Mrs Huston, jun., white georgette relieved with silver: Miss Kathleen Pope, blue taffeta and silver metal lace; Miss Kora Rigg. cream net embroidered in silver oyer blue satin: Miss Ada Rogers floral taffeta: Miss Xancye MacGregor, floral crepe d© chine; Miss Daphne Polgraise. ankle-length frock of turquoise bhie mf. feta relieved with silver laee: Miss Gardiner. jade green taffeta and georgette Miss Edna Turner, floral ninon: Miss O’Brien, mauve georgette and silver; Miss Oliver Wilkinson, black satin with touches of silver; Miss Eileen Wilkinson, midnight blue satin; Miss Olive Honeybun, apricot georgette and gold lace.
